National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time. This event provides a safe, convenient, and anonymous way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. The event is organized by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in partnership with local law enforcement agencies, pharmacies and community groups.
All Police Districts in Prince George's County will serve as designated prescription drug drop off sites, along with Walgreens pharmacies throughout the county. The locations are listed below:
